Practices for Emotional Balance

Oct 14, 2023 LIVE ONLINE with Replay

Don’t fight your moods, shift them into a steady state of balance and acceptance and general well-being. Discover Amy Weintraub’s Yoga for Your Mood. Her accessible formula blends modern science with ancient wisdom for managing depression and anxiety. Learn research-based practices from the author of Yoga for Depression, no mat required.

This is a short online intro to Yoga For Your Mood. There will be accessible movement, with options to stand or sit while doing the more energizing breathing practices recommended for depression. In our time together, you will learn and practice yoga breathing like Stair-step breath and other pranayamas, hand gestures called mudras and yoga mantra tones that balance mood that are not taught in regular yoga classes or even in most yoga teacher training.

You can use these yoga skills in a chair, in bed, or while doing your chores. You will feel refreshed and excited about integrating these tools into your daily life and offering them to the people you serve.
