Yogic Applications for Psycho-Emotional Care
Soul of Yoga in Encinitas, CA
This is a hybrid offering. Join us live in California or online from home.

During this unique time in our world more and more people are reporting feeling anxious, stressed, angry, depressed and exhausted. Yoga practices can help balance these moods and provide tools to better navigate our difficult times, and Amy will share her evidenced-based protocols on how to use Yogic tools of pranayama, asana, mantra, mudra and simple meditations to help you and your students who are experiencing situational and chronic psycho-emotional challenges and imbalances.

Teaching through the lenses of both the latest scientific research and ancient Yogic philosophy Amy will illuminate how the nervous system can become unbalanced and stuck, and how we can help foster balance, health and spiritual growth through Yoga practices. The workshop will include a mix of practice, lecture and practicum. You will learn accessible skills that support emotional balance, soothe anxiety, elevate mood, reduce fatigue. These tools can increase ease and clarity and resilience.

Amy, who’s recent offering, Amazon’s #1 Yoga for Your Mood card deck, is also the author of the groundbreaking book, Yoga for Depression.

Nearly twenty five years of research, thirty+ years of practice, and Amy’s personal recovery from a debilitating depression inform this protocol of evidence-based yoga practices. Learn tools not taught in regular yoga classes to support your own healing journey and those you serve.

LifeForce Yoga weaves ancient disciplines with current scientific findings to help you release what no longer serves you and become the agent of your own healing.
